Job summary

Skyview Los Alamos is seeking a friendly Barback to greet guests at the bar, assist bartenders, run food, and support service during busy hours. You’ll restock the bar, maintain a clean, organized station, and help with bussing and sidework as needed.

This role requires attentive, quick-thinking individuals who can work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a positive attitude. You will also assist with opening/closing duties, monitor guest comfort, and coordinate with servers to ensure

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old in accordance with California law governing the service of alcoholic beverages.
• Must have a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment; Skyview Los Alamos covers the expense.
• Must have a valid Food Handler Card or the ability the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment; Skyview Los Alamos covers the expense.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the bar and assist with seating and menus.
• Run food and assist bartenders with service duties during peak hours.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with bar setup and breakdown.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area; bussing and sidework as needed.
• Communicate guest issues and service updates to servers and management.
• Monitor guest comfort and safety; ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards.
