The LINE Hotel Group is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Barback to join our team in Austin, TX. This on-site role supports the bar team, maintains bar cleanliness, stocks supplies, and helps ensure an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues across departments, uphold service standards, and contribute to a welcoming, polished dining atmosphere. Opportunities to grow within a diverse, creative hotel brand are available.

• Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
• Knowledge of the POS system and ability to coordinate with team members

Responsibilities

• Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest
• Possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members
• Stock and maintain bar area and bar supplies, ensuring superior cleanliness and organization
• Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
• Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
• Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
• Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
• Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
