Job summary

Chelsea Hospitality Group is hiring at The Morris Proper in Morristown for a bar role. The position involves stocking, prepping, serving guests, and supporting bartenders to ensure fast, accurate service. You’ll maintain cleanliness, handle glassware and deliveries, and help open/close shifts with a positive, team-first mindset.

Candidates should have restaurant experience, be at least 18, and ideally hold TIPS or ServSafe certification; nights, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is required or preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
• Availability for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice and glassware before and during service.
• Support bartenders by running product and keeping wells ready during peak volume.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organize back bar and storage areas.
• Wash, polish, and restock glassware throughout service.
• Prepare juices, syrups and garnishes to spec.
• Change kegs, receive deliveries and rotate products properly.
• Complete bar opening, closing and side-work checklists.
• Assist guests and coordinate with the FOH team for seamless service.
