Porchlight, part of Union Square Hospitality Group, seeks a Barback to support a busy bar in Chelsea. You will stock, prep garnishes and syrups, and help maintain a clean, organized bar and seating area to create memorable hospitality moments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Barback in a full-service restaurant.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Ability to balance and carry multiple items and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar and Service teams to ensure the bar runs smoothly.
• Stock the bar with products and service tools as needed.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, juices, and batches for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and seating area.
• Communicate effectively with staff and kitchen during service.
• Take on additional duties to support team objectives.
