Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! We are currently accepting applications for a Barback. As the Barback, you will provide an exceptional experience to our guests with elegance, finesse, and a charming demeanor. Must maintain general menu knowledge and a basic understanding of wine and spirits. Duties include supporting food and beverage service in assigned outlets, which may include the bar, lounge, and dining areas, while maintaining proper health standards and a safe work environment.

Shift: Day

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Atlantis Casino Company-wide culture and demonstrate Atlantis Casino Service Standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar, lounge, dining area, and side station, including glassware, garnishes, condiments, and dry goods.
• Verify par levels for all products and equipment at the start of each shift; report shortages or needs to a manager.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management both verbally and in writing.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

While performing these duties, employees are required to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, talk, and hear. Occasionally, employees may lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card required.
• At least 1 year of food and beverage experience in a fast-paced environment; barback and/or fine dining experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; ability to sit, stand, bend, and move during shifts.
• Ability to work effectively in high-volume settings while maintaining safety, health, and service standards.
