Job summary

Aparium Hotel Group’s Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis’ North Loop seeks a Barback - Part Time to support bar and rooftop operations. You will stock, clean, and back up the bar team while learning advanced service techniques and cocktail knowledge.

The role emphasizes guest engagement, teamwork, and knowledge of the menu, with pay of $16.37 per hour plus gratuities and vacation time. Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Barback in a restaurant or hotel bar.
• TiPS Alcohol service certification preferred.
• Must meet local age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Fluency in English required.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bar operations and support the bar service team.
• Stock, clean and back up bar service; assist in delivering food and drinks.
• Know the menu to ensure safe service for guests with allergies.
• Participate in daily lineups and team meetings.
• Communicate with F+B and Culinary teams to ensure orders are served correctly.
