Job summary

aliveOne Chicago is hiring a Barback at our Chicago flagship venue. You’ll help keep the bar prepared and running smoothly in a high-energy environment, delivering great guest experiences while supporting the bartenders and team.

Part-time and full-time positions are available with competitive pay ($12.62/hr + tips) and perks including discounts at 4EG establishments, a fun team atmosphere, and opportunities for advancement and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays.
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success.
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware.
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift and be a good teammate.

aliveOne is our flagship location paying homage to live music, past and present. Serving up the best in music and spirits, any night of the week you can enjoy half-price happy hour, live concert DVDs playing on the TVs and Chicago’s only all-live music jukebox playing in the front room. Our weekly events include a new live band in the back room every Wednesday, our Thursday resident band, DJ dance parties on Friday and Saturday, and many others.

• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
