Job summary

Coury Hospitality in Dallas, TX is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and servers, ensuring a smooth and polished service at the bar. You will help with setup, service, and cleanup, keeping the bar stocked and ready for guests while maintaining sanitation and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities include assisting with beverage service, clearing and resetting the bar, and coordinating with teammates to maintain a welcoming bar area throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Assists Bartenders, Servers and Hosts in properly serving food and beverages when requested.
• Clears, cleans and resets bar in keeping with sanitation standards to be ready for the next guest.
• Responsible for crumbing tables, as directed by the Server.
• Transports dirty tableware to the dish drop area and sorts accordingly.
• Maintains stock and cleanliness of bar for all meal periods with necessary equipment.
• Wipes down bar and chairs, moves tables and chairs and cleans floors as necessary.
• Maintains an organized and fully stocked bar within each shift.
• Ensures bar is stocked and visually appealing.
• Responds to guest service issues and reports to the Server or Manager on Duty.
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct; actions are in guest view.
• Supports special cleaning projects as determined by weekly needs.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the Manager.
• Maintains communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
