Job summary

The Global Ambassador in Phoenix is seeking a barback to support bartenders in a fast-paced, hospitality-forward environment. You will assist with opening and closing duties, restock garnishes, glassware, and supplies while maintaining a clean, organized bar area.

This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and teamwork. Previous barback experience is preferred but not required; ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and a willingness to obtain responsible alcohol service certification are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, and bar essentials.
• Support bartenders with clean towels, glassware, ice, and stock for liquor, wine, and beer.
• Check taps, kegs, and bar equipment; perform minor fixes or swap kegs as needed.
• Keep bar clean and organized; wipe surfaces, sweep/mop floors, and sanitize storage areas.
• Store deliveries properly and keep inventory accessible for reorder.
• Track usage levels and maintain basic records for supplies.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, and other bar essentials.
• Ensure bartenders are fully supported with clean towels, glassware, ice, and well-stocked liquor, wine, and beer supplies.
• Check taps, kegs, and bar equipment to ensure proper operation, performing minor fixes or changing out kegs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar by wiping surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, removing used glassware, and sanitizing coolers and storage areas.
• Properly store delivered items and ensure inventory is organized and easily accessible.
• Track usage levels and maintain basic records to support accurate reordering of supplies.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards to create a safe and efficient bar environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barback or in a similar support role preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and remain standing or moving for extended periods.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong teamwork skills with a guest-focused, service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Clear communication and solid organizational skills to support bar operations effectively.

Pay Rate

$13.35 - $13.35 USD
