Superbueno is a Mexican American cocktail bar located at the corner of 1st and 1st, serving unique cocktails and craveable cuisine. Recently named Best New Cocktail Bar 2024 by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and ranked #2 in North America's 50 Best Bars 2024 and 2025. Superbueno is vibrant and energetic, attracting a diverse crowd from open to close.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Back on a part-time basis, with at least 2 years of NYC bar experience, preferably in high-volume settings. The ability to multitask under pressure and cater to guest needs is essential. This position offers a great opportunity to advance your cocktail career.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Organizing the prep area for service
2. Preparing fresh garnishes as per drink specifications (e.g., lime wedges)
3. Juicing to pre-set par levels before service
4. Assisting with stocking ice and other supplies
5. Maintaining the glass washer, ensuring it is clean and stocked
6. Restocking beers, wines, spirits, and batching ingredients
7. Checking and restocking garnishes, tinctures, and bitters
8. Assisting with stocking bar rags, sani buckets, and glassware
9. Supporting the bar team during service as needed

Requirements:

1. Legal age to serve alcohol
2. Physically able to lift liquor boxes and stand for long hours
3. Strong knowledge of bar menu items
4. Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
5. Friendly, responsible, and punctual
