Job description

We are looking for a Barback to support our Bartenders and the rest of our staff. You’ll assist with bar opening and closing procedures and perform various behind-the-bar tasks, such as restocking the bar and preparing garnishes. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in the hospitality industry, this is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience of how a bar operates. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure that our guests get an excellent customer service and enjoy their time at our bar. Note that, to be considered for this role, you should be legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed. You should also be available to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

· Stocking: Keeping the bar well-supplied with liquor, beer, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other necessary items.

· Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and orderly bar environment through tasks like wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and promptly addressing spills.

· Opening/Closing: Assisting with the setup of the bar before service begins and its breakdown at the end of the night.

· Assisting Bartenders: Helping with customer service by running drinks, clearing tables, and generally supporting their needs.

· Garnish Preparation: Preparing fresh and appealing garnishes for our drink menu.

· Communication: Interacting with customers to answer basic questions or direct more complex inquiries and feedback to the appropriate team member.

· Other Duties: Taking on additional tasks as needed, such as changing kegs, restocking coolers, and other duties assigned by the bartender or bar manager.

• Minimum age to serve alcohol
