Job summary

The George Sportsmen's Lounge in Las Vegas is seeking an energetic team member to provide friendly, engaging service at the bar and lounge. Assist bartenders and servers, keep the bar stocked, and help maintain a clean, organized venue.

Must be 21+, have excellent customer service, and be fluent in English. A Health Card and Alcohol Awareness credentials are required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Clean bar and lounge areas and store all equipment properly.
• Restock bar products, garnish trays, and ice bins.
• Assist in receiving, transporting and storing beverages; change beer kegs and soda BIBs.
• Prepare fruits and garnishes for cocktails.
• Deliver food to tables and announce deliveries.
• Bus tables and perform side work as needed.
• Empty trash to maintain sanitation.
• Help market venues by collecting guest information for the database.
• Follow health district guidelines and company policies.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing friendly, engaging, and superior service to every guest. Keep the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times. Assist the bartender and cocktail server in serving guests and maintaining service areas. Assist other team members with various duties as assigned.Essential Job Functions:Greet all guests sincerely with a smile and eye contact, and provide superior guest service.Efficiently serve food and beverage following the service sequence standards of Fine Entertainment.Possess thorough knowledge of all menu items and ability to suggestively sell items to guests.Properly set up service station at start of shift, and break down station at end of shift.Clean bar and lounge area, including bar top, sinks, glassware, lounge tables, and all storage areas.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of restaurant when necessary.Restock bar products, garnish trays, and ice bins as necessary throughout shift.Assist in the receipt, transport and storage of beverage products.Restock bar inventory as well as change beer kegs and soda BIBs.Cut fruit and garnishes to specifications for use in cocktails.Run food to tables throughout the restaurant announcing each item as delivered.Bus Tables as necessary throughout the restaurant.Perform assigned side work.Empty trash cans to maintain service and sanitation standards.Actively market FINE ENTERTAINMENT venues by collecting guest’s personal information for the marketing database.Must maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all guidelines established by the Southern Nevada Health District.Adhere to all Department and Company Policies and Procedures.Qualifications:Must be 21 years or oler.Previous experience as an Apprentice Bartender or Barback is preferred.Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.Must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.Must possess a valid Alcohol Awareness Card. (TAM, ACT, or other qualifying card)Must possess a valid Health Card issued by the Southern Nevada Heath District.Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during various activities throughout shift.Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
