The Flat is a Montrose bar and gathering place for music, culture and art inspired by DJ Sun. We offer rum‑inspired drinks, music, art, and food in a welcoming setting that feels like home, emphasizing great service and quality.

Responsibilities

• Restocking the bar: keep glasses, ice, napkins, straws, garnishes, and other supplies ready.
• Replace empty liquor bottles, beer kegs, and wine bottles.
• Cut fruit, prep all house‑made frozen drinks.
• Buss glasses and clean glassware to maintain constant stock for customers.
• Prepare pizza and deliver to customers promptly.
• Ensure the entire premises remains clean at all times.

Requirements

• Bar/Restaurant/Service Industry experience required.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a passion for music.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Food Handling license.
• Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware, and stand during shifts.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes, including different types of beers and mixed drinks.
• Relevant training certificate.
• Team spirit.
• Background check is conducted for all potential new hires.
