Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $13.00/hr

Palace Poker is an exclusive, members-only poker club offering high-end cash games, elite tournaments, and an unforgettable luxury experience. Our team of entertainers create an atmosphere of refined elegance, exceptional service, and dynamic social engagement.

The Barback at Palace Poker is responsible for ensuring seamless bar operations by providing consistent support to the Entertainers at the bar in a fast-paced, high-luxury environment. This individual helps maintain the elegance and readiness of the bar area, stocks premium products, and ensures our members experience uninterrupted, exceptional service. As part of a private, members-only club, the Barback must demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Bar Stocking & Preparation: o Replenish liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and bar tools before, during, and after service.
• Maintain neat, organized, and fully stocked back-of-bar areas. o Set up bar stations for opening and break down/clean stations at closing.
• Operational Support: o Remove used glassware and barware and return it to the dishwashing area.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed. o Assist in restocking and rotating inventory in bar storage and walk-in coolers.
• Notify the Food and Beverage Manager of low-stock or out-of-stock items promptly.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: o Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, shelves, and floors throughout shift.
• Clean spills and ensure compliance with local health and safety codes. o Deep clean bar equipment and tools regularly as part of scheduled maintenance.
• Team & Guest Interaction: o Support Entertainers in a courteous, proactive, and teamoriented manner.
• Respond promptly to Entertainer and manager requests.
• Uphold the club's privacy with professionalism.
  
  

Qualifications:

• The minimum age for these positions is 21.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a barback, bar assistant, or similar support role in a highend or luxury hospitality environment.
• Private club or membersonly experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Discreet, respectful demeanor around VIP and highprofile guests.
• Basic knowledge of bar tools, liquors, and beverages.
• Impeccable personal grooming and luxury presentation.
• Strong sense of urgency and pride in maintaining the highest standards.
• Trustworthiness and commitment to the club’s elite service philosophy.
• Teamfirst attitude with a high level of reliability and punctuality.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) Certification and Food Handler’s Certification are required and must be maintained during employment.
