Condesa Restaurant is seeking a Barback to join our team in Eau Claire, WI. This hands-on role supports bartenders by stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficiency behind the bar in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should have strong teamwork, excellent time management, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. Cash handling and POS familiarity are highly valued; flexibility for evenings, weekends and extended shifts is required.

Condesa is looking for friendly, outgoing and positive people to join our team!This positionsupports bartenders by maintaining stock levels, cleanliness, and efficiency behind the bar. This hands-on, customer-facing position emphasizes speed, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols in a fast-paced setting. The role reports to the General Manager and involves no supervisory duties.

Requirements:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively with customers and all team members.
• Must be able to use a computer for timekeeping and cash handling purposes.
• Possesses excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Complete knowledge of all company security regulations and federal/state/local regulations relating to food safety.
• Ability to obtain any applicable certifications/licensures as required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended shifts as needed.

Education & Experience:

• Restaurant or bar experience preferred.
• Customer-service experience preferred.
• Prior experience with cash register and/or cash handling highly recommended.
