Job summary

Copper Canyon Golf Club in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a bartender assistant to support beverage service and bar operations. You will assist in beverage preparation, stock the bar, and help maintain inventory while delivering personalized guest interactions.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS use, opening/closing duties, and assisting with catered events as needed; a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience are preferred. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: prior restaurant or bar experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Assists and supports inventory control through monitoring food and beverage products and notifies management when supplies are needed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Bartender or Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions; uses the Point of Sale system.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of portable bars and catered events; may serve meals to guests.

Physical Demands:

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
