Job summary

Rye Street Tavern, part of Clyde's Restaurant Group, is seeking a barback in Baltimore. You will support bartenders, maintain stocked and clean bar areas, and help ensure a smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Friendly, hardworking, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work a variable schedule of hours and days to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as weekdays.
• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.
• Ensure the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
