Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc. is seeking a Barback in Albuquerque to support bartenders and maintain a clean, efficient bar area. You will restock supplies, polish glassware, and help with opening/closing duties in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to stand for extended periods while lifting up to 30 pounds. NM Alcohol Server Certification is mandatory, with nights, weekends, and holidays expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar, service, and storage areas; keep bar clean and organized.
• Polish glassware and bar tools; restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
• Assist bartenders during peak times and support opening/closing duties.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are followed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
• Follow all safety and service procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, service, and storage areas.
• Clean and polish glassware, tools, and bar equipment.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Anticipate service needs and proactively assist bartenders during busy shifts.
• Support opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive guest-focused attitude.
• Follow all company safety and service procedures.
