Job summary

Kalamazoo Country Club is seeking a bartender in Kalamazoo, MI. You will train across Host, Server Assistant, Banquet Server, and Server to progress toward bartending, stocking the bar, and serving beverages per recipes. You will maintain bar cleanliness, keep stock records, and comply with safety policies.

You will attend pre-shift sessions, greet guests, and support service at lounges and events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while following health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience preferred.
• TIPS certification preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks to members and guests.
• Inspect and stock bar; ensure supplies.
• Maintain bar area and equipment.
• Keep liquor, beer, wine records.
• Follow safety and health code standards.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and training.
• Greet members and guests; report issues.
• Support beverage service during events.
• Practice beverage and revenue control procedures.
