Job summary

AC Hotel/Moxy Uptown Dallas is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee daily bar operations within a fast-casual dining and bar environment. You will lead and develop bartenders, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of service and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage inventory, cash handling, and scheduling in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading bar or hospitality teams.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and POS systems.
• Flexible scheduling incl. evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily bar operations to ensure efficient and smooth service.
• Lead, coach, and develop bartenders and bar staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, register accuracy, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Create staff schedules, assign duties, and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
• Assist with training new team members and conducting ongoing performance coaching.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are consistently maintained throughout the bar area.
• Support management initiatives to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the overall guest experience.
