Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY seeks a seasonal Bar Supervisor to support bar operations during events, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure guest service excellence.

You will manage setup and closing, monitor staff performance, handle inventory, and complete daily sales reports while coordinating with the team to maintain budget and productivity.

Qualifications

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Bar Supervisor to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with bar operations, ensuring that our guests receive the best service possible, upholding a constant level of staff productivity, ensuring that the bar’s budget is not exceeded, and maintaining health and safety standards within the bar.

Pay

$24.00 – $24.00 / hour

More about you

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory position
• Previous experience in bartending with knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Frequent walking; constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to moderate noise levels and variable temperatures depending on the season
