Location: Ballymascanlon House, Ballymascanlon

Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting an experienced Bar Supervisor to join the team.

The Ballymascanlon House is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland. This impressive Victorian House, dating back to 833 A.D., forms the heart of the hotel and is one of Ireland's most remarkable historical estates.

The role of the Bar Supervisor is exciting and focused on ensuring all guests have a wonderful experience with excellent service.

About The Role

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

• Supporting the Bar Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Terrace Bar and Function Bars.
• Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage outlets in the absence of the Bar Manager, ensuring high guest satisfaction and departmental profitability.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the bars, including the Terrace and Function Bars.
• Manage staffing levels according to business needs.
• Oversee the closing of late bars, ensuring all tasks are completed as per departmental checklists.
• Ensure team adherence to hotel standards.
• Manage stock rotation and maintain adequate par stocks.
• Set up and prepare the bars according to operational standards.
• Check all cash, credit card, and room charge payments for accuracy and maintain security of transactions.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage environment, such as a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
