Job summary

Flatstick Pub – South Lake Union in Seattle is hiring a Beertender to greet guests, describe beer styles, restock the bar, bus and clean tables, and help run tee times for mini golf.

This in-person, non-exempt role is hourly with compensation of $21.30/hour plus tips. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance after eligibility, 1.55 PTO hours per 40 hours worked, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive
• Provide consistent positive customer service
• Describe beer styles and ciders
• Restock bar and golf items
• Bus and clean tables
• Stock inventory and ice
• Help run tee times for mini golf
• Replace empty beer kegs
• Stock glasses behind the bars
• Check and clean bathrooms
• Handle daily tasks and side work
• Assist with occasional lifting up to 50+ pounds
• Other duties as assigned

Flatstick Pub - South Lake Union

is looking to hire a Beertender to help with its day-to-day operations and perform the duties listed below:

Specific Duties & Responsibilities as Beertender

• Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude
• Greet guests as they arrive
• Provide consistent positive and approachable customer service
• Comfortable speaking about different styles of beer and cider
• Restock bar and golf items
• Bus and clean tables
• Stock inventory and ice when needed
• Help run tee times for mini golf
• Replace empty beer kegs in the beer cooler
• Stock glasses behind the bars
• Check and clean bathrooms throughout the day
• Responsible for daily tasks and side work
• Employees are occasionally asked to climb, balance, kneel, or crouch
• Employees are occasionally asked to help lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
• Other duties as assigned.

About Flatstick:

There are only two rules at Flatstick Pub: drink local and have fun. We’re mixing up the scene by combining local beers with an indoor 9-hole mini golf course and other fun games. Our 30+ rotating taps feature local beers, ciders, and wines.

Work Environment:

This in-person position is located at the South Lake Union location (609 Westlake Ave Seattle WA 98109). Hours per week vary based upon the following: tenure, events, time of year, manager discretion.
