Job summary

Ida Claire is seeking a bartender to provide friendly, knowledgeable service while upholding our standards for quality and hospitality. You will engage guests, manage the bar setup, and maintain a clean, well-stocked station throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must maintain current Food Handler and TABC certifications.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and interact in a friendly, professional manner.
• Arrive on time, maintain uniform and appearance standards.
• Set up and break down the bar per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and prepare cocktails per Ida Claire recipes.
• Know menus thoroughly and assist guests with questions and dietary concerns.
• Handle cash/credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support restaurant team by delivering and clearing food/beverages.
• Pre-bus and manicure tables; restock bar for next shift.
• Communicate issues to management promptly and work with team.
