COLD BEERS & CHEESEBURGERS - SHEA 116 in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a bartender to prepare cocktails and beers, take orders, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to guests. You will maintain menu knowledge, handle POS orders, and ensure proper garnishes and presentation.

Requirements include a Food Handlers Certification, Alcohol Service Licensing, 21+ years old, and at least 1 year of bartending in a busy setting; flexible hours and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Service Licensing.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and presentation standards.
• Interact with customers, take orders, check IDs, and serve food and drinks.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menu and current draft beer selections.
• Take and process drink orders using the POS system with accuracy.
• Garnish drinks and ensure proper glassware and presentation.
• Keep bar area clean and organized, follow safety and sanitation rules.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain an organized cash drawer.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen, and managers to ensure smooth service.
• Follow liquor laws and company policies for responsible service.
