Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an energetic bartender to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interact with guests, take orders, and ensure a smooth bar operation.

You will craft cocktails, maintain clean bar, train with POS, and uphold liquor laws. Must be 21+, one year bartending, food handlers cert, and alcohol service license. Flexible hours, weekend availability, and dining discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one years old.
• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume setting.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity.

Responsibilities

• Beverage preparation: craft and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and standards.
• Customer service: provide exceptional service, engage guests, make recommendations, ensure guest satisfaction.
• Menu knowledge: understand beverage menu ingredients, flavors, and pairings; stay updated on trends.
• Order taking: take and process drink orders via POS, follow special requests/dietary restrictions.
• Drink presentation: garnish and present drinks, manage glassware and presentation.
• Cleanliness and organization: keep bar area clean, restock supplies, follow safety regulations.
• Cash handling: process payments, balance drawer, report discrepancies.
• Team collaboration: work with servers, kitchen, and managers to ensure smooth service.
• Safety and compliance: adhere to liquor laws and company policies.
