Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group is seeking a Bar Associate (Server) in Katy, TX to join our hospitality team. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, handling beverage orders, and maintaining a clean bar area in a cigar-friendly environment.

The position requires 21+ age, strong social skills, and experiência in bar/restaurant settings with beverage knowledge. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected as part of regular duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years Bar/Restaurant Industry experience, 2 years bartending.
• Extensive craft beer knowledge.
• Solid spirits and wine profile knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• State regulated Alcohol Serving Certification and Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays).
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders.
• Deliver items promptly and attentively.
• Verify age for alcohol purchase.
• Engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge area.
• Stock, prep and restock bar supplies as needed.
• Follow safety and liquor laws; report safety issues.
