Rendezvous is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee bar operations, mentor staff, and craft a consistent beverage program across our café and wine bar. You will lead training, manage day-to-day duties, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.

The role emphasizes beverage quality, inventory management, and compliance with local regulations, with a flexible schedule and growth opportunities in a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of bar management or lead bartender experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or wine-focused concept.
• Strong cocktail-making skills and familiarity with wine, craft beer, and spirits.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of beverage costing, recipe development, and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in fast-paced service periods.

Responsabilités

• Lead, train, and supervise bartenders and bar support staff.
• Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high-quality cocktails, wine service, coffee drinks, and specialty beverages.
• Oversee bar prep, batching, and recipe execution for consistency across shifts.
• Create or contribute to seasonal cocktail menus and recommend wine/beer selections.
• Maintain inventory levels; manage ordering, vendor relationships, and product rotation.
• Ensure proper cash handling, POS transactions, and nightly bar reporting.
• Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area.
• Address guest inquiries and provide recommendations on drinks, wine pairings, and menu items.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH leadership to maintain smooth service flow.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations.
