Job summary

Apizza Alimentari, a vibrant New York restaurant, seeks a Lead Bartender who will oversee the beverage program and bar operations while delivering expert bartending, leadership, and financial accountability for the bar’s performance and culture.

You will lead the wine and cocktail programs, train staff, manage inventory and purchasing, monitor pour costs, assist in hiring and scheduling, and uphold cleanliness and compliance to ensure hospitality, profitability, and superb guest interactions

Responsibilities

• Lead beverage program development and seasonal updates.
• Standardize recipes and ensure consistent execution.
• Oversee wine service standards and staff wine education.
• Manage full-bar inventory, pars, ordering, and vendor relations.
• Own beverage cost targets and margin optimization.
• Lead staffing, onboarding, scheduling, and coaching.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and health/liquor-law compliance.
