Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality seeks a dedicated barback to support bartenders and cocktail servers in its New York venue. You will assist with bar setup, stock bar stations, and keep the bar area clean while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will participate in daily pre-service meetings, follow health and safety standards, and work as part of a fast-paced team in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year prep or line cook experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Knowledge of basic mixology, ingredient handling, and mise en place organization.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance as directed.
• Anticipate and accommodate guests' needs in a timely manner.
• Provide professional and exceptional service to guests.
• Help deliver all food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain bar and bar area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow supervisor instructions and support co-workers as a team.
