Job summary

CAMP LAKE JAMES is seeking a Bartender/POS Attendant to join our team. You will take orders, suggest drinks, keep the bar clean, and create a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is energetic, service-oriented, and proactive.

Responsibilities include taking orders, adhering to alcohol laws, processing payments, maintaining inventory, and assisting with opening/closing duties. Previous bar experience is preferred, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; strong customer service.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders.
• Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow laws for serving alcohol.
• Record payments in the computer system.
• Order, maintain, restock bar supplies and ingredients.
• Open and close the bar, including cleaning and mopping.
