Job summary

Encore Boston Harbor is hiring a Bar Porter for a temporary seasonal role. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions of bar and cocktail venues, ensuring Encore standards, and delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include polishing glassware, cleaning equipment, assisting with setup and teardown, and following safety guidelines. Applicants should be 21+, with MA Gaming Commission licensing or ability to obtain, and ServSafe or equivalent certification

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or above.
• Massachusetts Gaming Commission license required or to be maintained.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent knowledge of chemicals, SDS PPE, sanitation and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions of bar and cocktail venues.
• Follows Encore standards and safety policies.
• Delivers high level of guest and team member service.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down shifts; prepares materials and equipment.
• Cleans and polishes glassware and bar equipment.
• Maintains work area and reports issues to supervisor.
• Works in a hospitality environment with varying schedules.
