Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Team Member to support beverage operations, maintain clean service areas, and assist with bar duties. This role emphasizes guest engagement, timely beverage service, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards in a high-energy casino setting.

You will interact with guests, ensure smooth operations during busy periods, and help keep the bar stocked and orderly while adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Creates an atmosphere to encourage guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Rockford for entertainment.
• Builds and retains guest relations and mentors team members to deliver superior guest service.
• Maintains setup of service areas and stocks liquor bottles in a timely manner.
• Keeps casino floor clean and organized, collecting glassware and resetting chairs.
• Assists with fulfilling beer, seltzer, and alcohol orders at the portable bar.
• Opens beverages during peak times to ensure fast-paced, high-quality service.
• Ensures beverage supplies are available during service and maintains a clean, odor-free bar.
• Follows company and departmental policies; behaves courteously and professionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned by beverage management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning and maintenance of all food and beverage wares, kitchens, and service areas. The organization, sanitation and cost of operations is to be consistent with the overall Food & Beverage goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment.
• Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
• Maintain all setup of service areas, which involves opening, removing, and replacing liquor bottles in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the casino floor by collecting glassware and resetting chairs.
• Assist with fulfilling beer, seltzer, and alcohol orders at the portable bar.
• Assist in opening beverages during peak times to ensure fast pace and superior guest service.
• Ensures that beverage supplies are available during service.
• Always keeps bar clean and odor free.
• Adheres to company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Is courteous and displays a good attitude.
• Performs any reasonable request made by beverage management.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout shift.
• Must have the ability to withstand noisy environments.
• Must be able to walk 100% of shift.
