Job summary

MGM National Harbor is seeking a Bar Porter to support beverage operations by stocking items, keeping areas clean, and delivering excellent guest service. You will help ensure the bar runs smoothly and guests have memorable experiences during their visit.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to manage supplies and setup for bars across the property. On-site position with corporate benefits and opportunities to grow within MGM Resorts International.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve beverage outlets with glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
• Maintain cleanliness in beverage areas, including tools, equipment, refrigerators, countertops, and floors.
• Complete paperwork for bar transfers and dry stock deliveries.
• Ensure pars of liquor, beer, and supplies are maintained in cooler and storage areas, ordering items as needed.
• Set up and break down portable bars in designated areas.
• Use proper freight elevators and delivery routes for transporting items to hotel areas and beverage outlets.
• Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, storage rooms, and warehouses.
• Notify management of non-stock items as necessary.
• Address guest complaints within scope of authority or escalate to management.
