Job summary

360 CHICAGO is seeking a Bar Manager to lead the bar program atop Chicago’s skyline. The role reports to the Director of Operations and partners with Operations, Events, Marketing and Leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue and ensuring compliance with liquor, health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years bartending experience with 4+ years in a supervisory role, a passion for hospitality, and a track record of developing teams, managing costs

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of bartending experience with 4+ years in a supervisor/manager role.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume service in hospitality or tourism.
• Extensive knowledge of inventory control and cost management.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Valid BASSET certification or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations across shifts, ensuring quality, presentation and portion standards.
• Recruit, train and schedule bartenders and barbacks; provide coaching and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Operations, Events and Marketing on promotions and special events.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health and safety regulations; monitor ID-check procedures.
• Manage inventory, ordering, cost control and minimize waste; monitor sales trends.
