About Smokey Bones :
Smokey Bones is a full-service restaurant delivering great barbecue, award-winning ribs, and good times in 63 locations across 16 states. We serve lunch and dinner with a full bar featuring bourbons, whiskeys, craft beers, and signature cocktails. Our menu includes slow-smoked, fire-grilled meats available for dine-in, pick-up, online ordering, or catering and delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Guest Experience
- Coach teammates on delivering an excellent guest experience.
- Coach on anticipating, identifying, and resolving issues impacting guest experience.
- Guide teammates on how actions affect guest experience and how to interpret results.
- Interact positively with guests and solicit feedback.
- Handle and follow up on guest concerns escalated from teammates, escalating to GM and DO as necessary.
- Ensure quality of all restaurant facilities by coordinating with management and vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Operations Leadership :
- Model standards and behaviors expected from managers and teammates.
- Teach and model company values and culture.
- Train staff on new menu items and standards.
- Coach on operational excellence, maintenance, and facilities.
- Motivate teammates to improve performance and provide feedback.
- Develop leadership skills within the team.
Financial Performance :
- Set plans, communicate strategies, and measure goals related to inventory, sales, and guest satisfaction.
- Identify performance gaps and initiate improvement programs.
- Review sales trends and help grow sales.
- Learn about Profit and Loss statements, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Support administrative duties in compliance with laws.
Requirements
The RIGHT person needs the following experience and qualities :
- Previous Bar Manager / Service Management Experience (must be in a full-service restaurant with a full bar)
- Results-driven, trustworthy, and team-oriented
- Ability to engage and develop team members and coach in adherence to company policies
- Passionate about hospitality and creating excellent guest and employee experiences
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift 50 lbs.
