Sharks Restaurant & Billiards in Shawnee, KS seeks a skilled Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations, drive guest experiences, and maximize profitability in a high-energy, entertainment-driven setting.

You'll manage a team of bartenders, oversee inventory and costs, ensure compliance with liquor laws, and partner with the GM to plan events and promotions while delivering fast, friendly service.

Formación

• 2+ years in bar management or lead bartender in a high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and trends.
• Experience with POS, scheduling, and inventory software.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays (21+).

About Us

Sharks Restaurant & Billiards isn't your average bar and grill, we're a 14,000 sq. ft. locally owned hotspot that blends great food, nightlife, and entertainment under one roof. With billiards, darts, golf simulators, arcade games, projection screens, and a full-service restaurant, Sharks has been Shawnee's go-to place for good times since 2006.

We're now looking for a skilled, hands-on Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive sales in a high-energy, entertainment-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day bar operations, including staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Lead and inspire a team of bartenders to deliver fast, friendly, and consistent service.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maximize bar profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all state liquor laws, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the GM and FOH leadership team to support events, promotions, and late-night operations.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, keeping the Sharks brand experience fun and memorable.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of bar management or lead bartender experience in a busy, high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate staff.
• Solid knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and industry trends.
• Comfortable with POS systems, scheduling, and bar inventory software.
• Must be 21+ with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
