Des Moines Renaissance Savery Hotel, managed by StepStone Hospitality, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our culinary and service operations. This role is responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring the profitability of our restaurant and related operations.

The responsibilities include:

1. Managing daily operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, room service, and catering.
2. Hiring, training, and supervising front-of-house staff such as servers, bartenders, and hosts.
3. Collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain menu quality and consistency.
4. Ensuring guest service standards are met or exceeded.
5. Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for food, beverages, and supplies.
6. Creating and managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial reports to maximize profitability.
7. Enforcing health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
8. Developing promotional strategies and events to boost sales and customer engagement.
9. Handling guest concerns or complaints professionally.
10. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
11. Enhancing guest satisfaction through employee development and service excellence.
