Job Summary: The Assistant Manager - Next Level Lounge plays a pivotal role in driving beverage sales and profitability for Fogo’s bar and lounge experience. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance guest engagement, maximize revenue, and elevate the overall lounge experience. Collaborating closely with restaurant management, vendors, and suppliers, the Lounge Manager will lead initiatives that align with our brand and business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations teams to deliver best-in-class Next Level Lounge experiences.
  • Engage with guests before and after their dining experience to promote lounge offerings and create a seamless visit.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to elevate brand awareness and drive traffic to the lounge.
  • Represent the brand at networking and community events to extend reach and visibility.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all Next Level Lounge food and beverage items.
  • Coordinate with the Training Department on updates and standard operating procedures.
  • Train new team members, including those participating in New Restaurant Openings (NRO), on lounge standards.
  • Assist in the hiring process of all lounge team members within your home restaurant.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase bar revenue, using your expertise in beverage trends and market dynamics.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to design and execute promotional campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Partner with the Corporate Innovation Team to introduce appealing, on-brand beverage items that are competitively priced and compliant with alcohol laws.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy and keep Fogo's beverage program fresh and competitive.
  • Coach and support restaurant management in executing beverage initiatives and delivering consistent standards of excellence.
  • Oversee sourcing and procurement of liquor, beer, and wine, balancing cost-efficiency and product quality.
  • Lead engaging beverage tastings, both in-house and at the Support Center, to introduce new offerings and build excitement.
  • Collaborate on beverage menu updates, ensuring all additions meet brand guidelines.
  • Provide timely updates and coordinate changes to POS/MenuLink systems to ensure seamless implementation of menu revisions.

Core Competencies:

Sales Leadership: Inspire and motivate teams to achieve sales targets through clear direction and ongoing support.

  • Market Insight: Stay current on consumer trends and market shifts to inform innovative and effective strategies.
  • Operations Management: Act as an operational leader, providing day-to-day guidance and support to team members.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key guests and groups to drive loyalty and referrals.

Education, Experience & Travel Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or high-performing experience in a comparable role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the beverage industry, with a demonstrated ability to increase bar sales.
  • Proven background in sales and marketing within the hospitality, beverage sector or similar background working at Fogo.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to support restaurant operations and sales initiatives.
  • Certifications or coursework in Perfect Serve, Wine Sommelier, and Cigar Validation are highly preferred.

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time, hourly Team Members on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability are provided where allowed. This position has a pay range that starts at 60,000.00 and goes up to 80,000.00. Your rate is dependent upon your relevant work experience.
