Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center invites applicants for an hourly tipped position in the Food & Beverage department. The role includes serving beverages and/or food, handling the lounge as cashier, and ensuring guest satisfaction with friendly, timely service.

Responsibilities cover maintaining bar setup, stocking supplies, preparing garnishes, handling cash, processing room service orders, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor rules.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS.
• Basic English for written requisitions and communication.
• Dexterity to handle knives and garnish preparation.
• Understand portion sizes and menu item familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and document drink orders, prepare drinks, and handle room service orders.
• Maintain daily bar setup and stock beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and manage perishables to ensure quality.
• Accept cash, make change, record charges and balance money.
• Lock and secure beverages and equipment, process vouchers.
• Operate POS and input orders accurately; issue checks to guests.
• Perform cleaning tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and assist other beverage staff as needed.
