Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center is seeking a part-time Hotel Barista to craft a variety of coffee and specialty beverages for hotel guests and visitors. You will operate coffee equipment, maintain a clean workstation, and provide friendly, professional service in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling payments, restocking supplies, and collaborating with team during conferences and events while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food service is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations on menu items.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, and assist with inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Upsell additional items, such as pastries or specialty drinks, to enhance guest experience and meet sales goals.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Adhere to hotel policies, brand standards, and food safety regulations.
