Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a Barback to support the beverage operation by bussing and resetting the bar, running food and beverage items, and engaging guests with friendly, timely service.

You will assist bartenders, maintain a clean bar area, stock supplies, and help guests with menu knowledge while ensuring compliance with health standards and safety protocols. This role requires 21+ and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
• Ability to engage guests and provide responsive service.
• Strong teamwork and communication with FOH and BOH.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with pre-shift prep and post-shift close.
• Stock and maintain bar supplies; wash and polish glassware.
• Explain basic details of dishes and beverages when delivering orders.
• Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, tea.
• Maintain bar organization and locate items quickly.
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking age with proper ID.
• Promote a positive guest experience through attentive service.
• Follow health and safety protocols and SNHD guidelines.
