This hands-on role requires leading day-to-day bar operations, guiding a bartending team, and regularly working tipped shifts behind the bar. You will balance guest experience with cost control while coordinating promotions and events.

Qualifications

• Prior bar management experience.
• Strong bartending experience and guest interaction.
• Ability to lead from behind the bar, not just from an office.
• Open availability including days, nights and weekends.
• Solid understanding of labor, inventory, beverage costs and scheduling.
• Confident, personable leadership style.
• Ability to build relationships with regulars and welcome new guests.
• Organized, reliable, and able to keep operations moving in a fast-paced bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar operations and overall business performance.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop a strong bartending team.
• Work scheduled tipped bartending shifts.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with a combination of days, nights, and weekends.
• Create a welcoming, energetic environment for guests and regulars.
• Maintain strong service standards while keeping a casual atmosphere.
• Manage labor, inventory, ordering, cash controls, and operating costs.
• Handle guest concerns and support the team during busy shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol-service standards.
• Partner with ownership on promotions, events, and sales opportunities.
• Hold the team accountable while building a positive, dependable culture.
