Job summary

The LINE DC is seeking a Bar Director to oversee beverage programs across multiple concepts, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering. This role will shape vision, profitability, staffing, and ongoing education in partnership with F&B leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial spirit, with 3+ years of related experience and DC ABCA Manager Certified preferred. The position offers a fast-paced environment with growth across concepts.

Qualifications

• DC ABCA Manager Certified credential.
• Three years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all bar programs across multiple concepts, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve beverage menus and programs in partnership with culinary and operations teams.
• Establish and maintain beverage standards, recipes, specifications, service procedures, and operating procedures across all concepts.
• Oversee beverage purchasing, vendor relationships, pricing, par levels, receiving, and storage, with distributors and brand partners.
• Create and manage beverage labor plans, staffing levels, scheduling, and deployment while maintaining service standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop beverage team members and leaders; run ongoing beverage education programs.
• Collaborate with Banquets and Catering to develop beverage packages and pricing for events.
• Support daily operations with leadership to maintain quality and guest experience across outlets.
• Analyze beverage sales, costs, margins, guest feedback, and performance; report and act on findings.
• Participate in departmental and administrative meetings; adhere to SOPs and health and alcohol-service regulations.
