Job summary

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Bar/F&B Supervisor to support daily operations, supervise staff, and deliver excellent guest experiences in a busy setting. The role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and beverage/food service skills to maintain quality and safety.

You will work closely with the Manager, help plan and prep, train employees, and ensure accurate inventory, pricing, and compliance with California codes. This is a tipped, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 years of bar and food service and guest service experience.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Must have cash handling, POS, inventory maintenance and loss prevention experience.
• Good physical conditioning, including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Proficiency with Toast, Word and Excel is a plus.
• Must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an on-going commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Assist Manager in maintaining schedules and staffing levels.
• Perform and assist with all F&B operations and bar duties.
• Operate Point of Sale system and manage pricing and promotions.
• Maintain bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine and mixers.
• Create an innovative bar beverage menu.
• Ensure food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
• Supervise and lead within department risk management program.
• Motivate and guide staff to meet goals and objectives.
• Communicate problems to the Manager and handle routine matters.
