Job summary

Spring-Hill-Suite in Norfolk, VA is seeking a friendly bartender to join our team. You will take beverage orders, prepare drinks, and ensure fast, courteous service to guests.

Maintain bar inventory, handle payments, and uphold sanitation with glassware washing. You’ll work with our team to promote beverages and provide recommendations.

This role requires mixology know-how, cash handling, and strong interpersonal skills; weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Certification as required by state or local laws.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology and drinks.
• Cash handling and POS experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Record drink orders into the register system.
• Accept guest payments and make change.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Maintain bar inventory and cleanliness.
• Present drink menus and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with bar maintenance.
