Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for full-time BAR BACK positions at United Polaris Lounge, San Francisco. This role supports the bartenders by stocking, prepping and serving beverages, with an emphasis on cleanliness and guest service.

You’ll work a full-time schedule with varied hours; prior bar-back experience is preferred. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $25.20 per hour, plus meals, uniforms, laundering, and comprehensive benefits as part of the Compass Group family.

Qualifications

• Previous bar back experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives liquor, beer and wine from storeroom daily and replenishes bar stock as needed.
• Retrieves food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
• Retrieves beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with top-shelf liquor on back shelf.
• Ensures beer taps are working properly.
• Keeps snacks and napkins stocked and assists in opening/closing side work.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar and lounge areas; washes tables, walls and floors.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
