Position Summary

The Bar Back is responsible for supporting the bartenders by restocking products to ensure they remain fully stocked during events, while adhering to all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events based on business needs.

This role offers an hourly wage of $15.00, plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Stock products for the bar, including non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, and supplies such as fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers. Responsible for moving kegs, tapping kegs, and cleaning the bar area.
• Ensure that all equipment is operational and clean before the start of each event.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and surrounding areas, including mopping floors, cleaning mats, emptying trash cans, and organizing storage areas.
• Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and alert bartenders accordingly.
• Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance consistent with company standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, event-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills with co-workers, management, and guests, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Possession of valid food handling and alcohol service permits, if required by law.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory management.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Experience in high-volume bar environments is preferred.
