Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Bar Back to support our hotel bar and beverage program. You will assist with prep, stocking, sanitation and friendly guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year bar back experience preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bar items needed in the preparation of drinks.
• Trash pickup and disposal at bar areas.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Review procedures to improve service and safety.
• Stock, replenish, clean and prep bar; perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares food items needed in the preparation of drinks
• Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas
• Maintain health and sanitation standards
• Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance and/or safety
• Completes stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance and preparation of bar
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in bar back role
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Ability to multi-task
