Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a dynamic Bar Back to join our team. This part-time role supports the bar with prep, stock, sanitation and guest service.

As a Bar Back you will assist bartenders, maintain cleanliness, monitor supplies, and help ensure a smooth service. The position offers daily pay options, benefits and opportunities for growth within SHG.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares food items needed in the preparation of drinks

Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas

Maintain health and sanitation standards

Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance and/or safety

Completes stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance and preparation of bar

Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of High School education

Minimum of one (1) year in bar back role

Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively verbally

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Ability to multi-task
